About WYSDOM 2.0:

Experiencing the post-pandemic burnout? Or are you looking for a place of rest and receiving? Then WYSDOM 2.0 is just the conference for you!

WYSDOM 2.0 will be the ultimate weekend getaway, filled with prayer, worship, fellowship and fun activities as we connect with our Syro friends from across the West Coast.  We’re excited for the youth and young adults of our parishes to come together to be with the Lord and each other as we abide in the Father’s love for us. 

Theme: ABIDE

“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.” John 15:4

We live in a world with the mentality that we always need to be doing something, whether that is at home, school, work, or even church. We distract ourselves with a busy schedule and place our worth and identity in the things we can contribute to this world. 

However, in the story of Martha and Mary (Luke 10:38-42), our Lord says “there is need of only one thing.” He is not asking us to give Him anything, but simply abide. At WYSDOM 2.0, we will enter into the home of Martha and Mary and allow our Lord to teach us how our mission and identity in this world should be, first and foremost, rooted in our relationship with Him. As we abide in the Lord, our fruits will automatically grow within us and overflow into our mission.

So put aside your busy schedules and finally give yourself a chance to simply abide in the Lord at WYSDOM 2.0!

Minor's Waiver Form: Any minors attending WYSDOM 2.0 need the consent and signature of their parent/legal guardian to participate. Form states that DYA, the coordinating team, and the St. Thomas SyroMalabar Diocese of is not liable for any injury or accident of any sort. Please read form for more details and sign (all participants below the age of 18) and bring with you to the conference for check-in.
